V2 Digital has raised a funding round
Melbourne-based tech startup V2 Digital has led a funding round, receiving US$30 million in investment. Columbia Capital was the lead investor in the project.
The Australian startup has managed to attract a large amount of funding just one year after the project’s official launch. This success proves the company’s potential and attractiveness to investors. Craig Howe established this company in April 2023. Since then, the company has opened three offices – in Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane. It employs 40 people. However, Howe plans to double its size by the end of 2024.
An overview of the startup’s activities
The startup provides consulting services to companies in the digital and data sectors. The company’s immediate goal is to become a market leader in the Asia-Pacific region. According to Howe, the investments received will significantly accelerate the plan’s implementation. In addition, the startup intends to actively develop and expand its list of services to attract new customers.
V2 Digital has already established itself as a strong player in the market, but the startup will not stop there. As one of the steps in its development, the company is considering attracting experienced specialists from various technological fields to its team. The implementation of this strategy will be in parallel with the expansion of the company’s geographical coverage. So far, V2 Digital’s activities are focused exclusively on Australia. Although, the company intends to enter new markets in the near future. The management also plans to open several offices in the country.
The company’s clients are large companies in the following sectors:
- healthcare;
- retail;
- energy;
- construction;
- MEDIA.
An important aspect of V2 Digital’s work is its personalised approach to each client. The startup examines the company’s problems and the sector in which it operates. Its specialists then draw up an action plan that takes into account the client’s specific characteristics and capabilities. This makes the process of digital transformation as smooth and effective as possible.
The startup received seed funding in November 2023. Matt Farmer, who founded Ox Ventures and Mesh-AI, became an investor. He has taken a seat on V2 Digital’s board of directors.
As for current investor Columbia Capital, its representative noted the startup’s potential. According to Jason Boom, V2 Digital operates in a sought-after sector rapidly growing in relevance. More and more companies are looking for professional support to achieve their goals. And the implementation of digital technology and data analytics is a big part of meeting these challenges.
