Autonomous technologies based on artificial intelligence are one of the most promising fields. Developments here are in full swing, and soon the creators will be ready to provide innovations that will make human life easier and more comfortable.
The use of AI and automation principles today is a major development factor for almost all industries. Companies actively use such technologies to remain competitive and strengthen their position in the market. Some of the developments are only at the initial stage of creation, but some are quite ready to be actively used in everyday life in the near future.
The automation process has primarily affected the IT segment. It aims at minimizing human intervention in a number of operations. To this end, an application was created based on the low-code principle, which implies the development of software products without writing laborious and complicated code. For the time being the low-code format is used for the bots, which test the application. Experts promise that in the near future such automated development will allow the creation of software through automated processes without direct human involvement and writing code.

The latter recently launched an autonomous cab together with the Lyft service. However, such vehicles cannot yet be called fully automated; the technology is being improved and tested. At the same time, robotaxis are showing excellent results, and a number of countries have already allowed them on their roads. So the day is coming when we won’t have to hold a conversation with a cab driver or listen to his music when we call for a car.
Artificial intelligence technology is also being used in the energy industry. Siemens Energy Corporation recently announced its readiness to commission an autonomous power plant. The company will be able to analyze the current situation, identify errors in functioning and provide recommendations to increase productivity. Already now, personnel at modern power plants use intelligent programs that independently check operating parameters and the threat of leaks.
Another type of drone that is widely used are drones. And they are used not only to deliver packages to Amazon or to take video recordings. Drones are an important part of the military industry; they are used to gather intelligence, comb the area for trespassing, and much more. The information provided by drones allows for quick decisions and building military strategy.
These are just some of the developments based on autonomous technologies that are already making our lives easier today. And there will be several times more such discoveries in the future, as AI approaches and applications are actively improved and expanded.
